First trailer for Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson’s Song Song Blue
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Focus Features has unveiled the first trailer for Song Song Blue, starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. The film is directed by Chris Brewer, whose credits include Coming 2 America and Dolemite Is My Name.
The story follows musicians played by Hudson and Jackman, who, inspired by Neil Diamond, form a band to pursue their dreams. The film is based on a documentary of the same name released in 2008. Other cast members include Michael Imperioli, Fisher Stevens, Jim Belushi, Ella Anderson, Mustafa Shakir, and Hudson Hilbert Hensley.
Jackman was last seen in Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine and recently joined The Death of Robin Hood alongside Jodie Comer. Hudson appeared three years ago in Rian Johnson’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery on Netflix and was recently featured in Mindy Kaling’s comedy series Running Point, which will return for a second season.
This musical film will be released on December 25, 2025.
